The Leicestershire Education Business Company is seeking Business Champions from an Engineering background to advice them on their Engineering Diploma for 2009. The L.E.B.C would be looking for champions to give a "Real World" perspective by taking part in either of the following activities.

• Teacher Placements - This allows teachers the opportunity to develop not just professionally and personally but also bring real experience to the classroom delivery of the diploma. This could involve as little or as much commitment as you are prepared to give.
• Careers Talks - Speaking to students about the engineering profession, what   qualifications you would need in a particular sector and the various routes of progression.
• Schools are also looking for people to give a real work life slant to a lesson, so spending some time with a teacher explaining how the theory of a particular unit is applied in the workplace. Could you set the students a challenge - something real that may affect your business?
