2110 - Young Enterprise Area Board Membership
East Midlands
Board Members needed for Young Enterprise!
Young Enterprise East Midlands currently has a number of opportunities for Board members on the voluntary Area Boards, through which many of the Young Enterprise core activities are organised across the region.
Area Boards are local committees of volunteers, responsible for a defined geographical area, usually consisting of between 10 and 15 local business people. The function of an Area Board is to organise, expand and develop the experience of Young Enterprise within its area, with the aim of giving the opportunity of participating in Young Enterprise programmes to as many young people as possible.
Boards meet on average monthly during term time and organise training workshops, trade fairs and competition events, which are important parts of the Young Enterprise Company & Team programme experience.
These are very much hands-on roles and suitable for Business Champions who really want to take an active role in building a better-motivated, educated and enterprising workforce, at the same time making a real difference to the existing lives and future potential of young people in their area. Specific vacancies currently exist for the boards covering:-
Northampton/Daventry,
Wellingborough/Rockingham,
Leicestershire (East & West),
Boston/S.Holland,
Lindsey (Lincs),
S&E Derbyshire,
W.Derbyshire,
Nottingham,
N.Notts,
Ashfield & Mansfield
