The Teacher Placement Programme supports the development of teachers in schools and colleges by providing them examples of where and how the curriculum they teach is used in the working world. An area is identified by a teacher as requiring further investigation and Leicestershire Education Business Company (LEBC) organise a visit to a company who can demonstrate how classroom learning is relevant to real-world settings. 

Business Champions can support this scheme by hosting teacher visits within their workplace, and providing guest speaking. Visits could be with a group of teachers or individuals and could last from a couple of hours to a full day depending on availability.
