The Leicestershire Education Business Company is seeking Business Champions from a Creative Industries background to advise them on their Creative Industries Diploma.
The diploma will cover the following topics 2D, 3D, Craft, Graphic design, Product design, Fashion design, Textile design, Print & publishing, Advertising, Drama, Dance, Music, Film & TV, Radio, Interactive media, Animation, Computer games, Photo imaging and Creative writing.

To bring the Diploma to life we are looking for Business Champions that can volunteer 1 day or more this academic year to support the following events:

• Come in to a school and chat to the students about what you do (with questions from the students) in a fun and fast paced ‘What’s My Line’ / ‘Guess my job’ format

• Set a challenge relating to your business, come into school to launch it then come back a few weeks later to judge their entries or listen to the students pitch their ideas, a mini Dragons Den scenario!

• Host a visit from the students to your workplace so they can incorporate your organisation as a case study in to their studies

• Host a teacher on placement to your workplace, giving them an insight into the working world. This allows teachers the opportunity to bring real experience to the classroom delivery of the diploma. This could involve as little or as much commitment as you are prepared to give.
