2322 - Dukeries College 'Preparing for Success'

Dukeries College in New Ollerton are looking for a Business Champion to assist with their 6th form Extension Studies "Preparing for Success" programme. This programme is designed to help students make the next step, either into Employment or Further Education. The programme will teach skills such as Interview techniques, C.V. writing skills, and generally aim to help students feel more prepared and more confident when making important career decisions and when pursuing those career paths. 

They require support from Business Champions to make this programme a success. Volunteers could get involved in a number of different ways, for example, by talking to students about the world of work, and offering hints and tips for success, or offering C.V, and Interview advice. The volunteer could select a time that was suitable for them, and could offer support for the duration of a lesson or for a shorter period depending on their availability.
