Expressions Child Therapy is an exciting new company providing children who have psychological difficulties and complex life experiences an opportunity to explore their emotions through play. Expressions is a not for profit, community interest company with an aim to support the emotional development of children, families and professionals. The Company delivers a number of services including child therapy for children aged between 3 years and 14 years old (occasionally for older adolescents), conducts assessments of children’s needs, delivers intensive one-on-one and group therapeutic work, and offers support to professionals working with children to raise awareness and improve their skills in how to develop children’s social, emotional and psychological wellbeing.  They work in partnership with professionals from health, social care, education and voluntary and community sectors

Expressions is looking to expand as they are now at full capacity.  They are looking to engage further professionals and begin selling therapeutic toys.  They are looking for a Business Champion to assist them by offering their commercial expertise, acting as a mentor to the Director.  They would like to hear from someone who has experience of growing a small business; background knowledge of child therapy or therapeutic services is desirable but not essential; the time commitment is flexible.  If you are interested in supporting, please contact Danielle on 01159 247412 or email danielle.davis@bitc.org.uk
