Voluntary Action Melton is an infrastructure organisation that provides support to community and voluntary groups in the Borough of Melton. They also recruit, train and place volunteers into these organisations. They are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. They have a Board of Trustees who plan and direct the work of the organisation.

They are looking for a Business Champion to join their Board of Trustees and play a strategic role within the organisation. They currently have a skills gap and are looking to fill this with an individual who is experienced in areas of finance and business planning.

They are looking to find a Champion as soon as possible. The trustees meet on a bi-monthly basis, with themed sub-group meetings in between. Work load in between these meetings varies depending on subject area and priorities at the time.
